Los bautizos son ideales para iniciarse en la escalada. Suelen ser el primer paso en el mundo vertical y el foco esta puesto en que aprendas los conceptos básicos de seguridad y que lo pases muy bien escalando.
Los bautizos de escalada son ideales para iniciarse en la escalada en roca. Básicamente son cursos de iniciación en los cuales se focaliza en que los participantes descubran la escalada, de qué se trata la actividad, los desafíos que supone y a la vez comprendan los conceptos básicos de seguridad.
En los bautizos queremos que escales mucho y disfrutes de la escalada en roca mientras nosotros nos ocupamos de la seguridad.
Eso no quiere decir que escalaras sin saber qué es lo que sucede. Parte esencial de la actividad es que te familiarices con el material de escalada, aprendas a hacer el nudo ocho y a utilizar el Gri gri para asegurar a otro escalador.
Mentiríamos si te decimos que en 6 horas de actividad, sin haber escalado nunca antes, tendrás los conocimientos para poder salir a escalar con autonomía. Es por eso que los bautizos son solo el primer paso. Entenderás las maniobras básicas y la dinámica de la escalada en roca.
Una vez has hecho un bautizo de escalada, puedes continuar tu formación tomando un curso de escalada Nivel 2. Incluso muchas veces los participantes de nuestros cursos deciden realizar un segundo bautizo para afianzar completamente los conceptos básicos y luego dar el paso al nivel 2 con el cual ganarán autonomía.
En los bautizos y en todos nuestros cursos, los grupos son reducidos para poder garantizar la máxima seguridad y atención personalizada. Es por eso que incluso si repites un bautizo podemos seguir avanzando un poquito más contigo mientras los demás participantes practican las maniobras básicas.
¿Dónde se realizan los bautizos? Normalmente realizamos la actividad en Siurana, Arboli o Montserrat. Son todas zonas de escalada reconocidas mundialmente y emplazadas en sitios espectaculares. Pero no dejes que estos grandes nombres te amedrenten, en estas zonas también existen vías ideales para iniciarse en la escalada. Nosotros nos ocuparemos de llevarte al sitio que mejor se adapte a tus necesidades para que puedas disfrutar de un día inolvidable en la montaña.

I had a great experience today climbing with Giordano in Garraf! Just driving to the location was beautiful and the views once you reached the top were spectacular! I felt very safe with my instructor and he balanced making sure I had fun with safety, which you could tell was his priority. He was so encouraging throughout my climbs and made me feel good about what capabilities I had. I will be looking into taking a course with southclimb now and would recommend them to others.
