The Montserrat Massif geography is unique: it's made out of thousands of conglomerate needles rising dozens of feet above the ground and it has a long, rich history. Many of its summits can only be reached climbing, which is the most elegant way to get to a highest point. The views from these summits are hard to explain: we recommend you experience them yourself.
The Gorros de Montserrat area offers a great variety of routes that are ideal to enter the big walls world while enjoying a marvelous environment and spectacular views.
Some of the most repeated lines are the Carles and the Adrià on the Gorro Frigi, or the 98 Octanos on the Magdalena Superior. The Magdalena Inferior can be climbed up the Rantaplan, while on the Gorra Marinera the classic is the Sargantanes route.

I had a great experience today climbing with Giordano in Garraf! Just driving to the location was beautiful and the views once you reached the top were spectacular! I felt very safe with my instructor and he balanced making sure I had fun with safety, which you could tell was his priority. I organised a 4hr climbing session in Siurana for 10 children (mostly aged 8-9) and Santi was super easy to communicate with and organise everything remotely. He arranged 2 guides, all the equipment, safe briefing and everything you would need for a half day of fun climbing. The kids really enjoyed themselves and learnt so much along the way. Some were beginners, others had climbed before and the guides were very helpful and supportive. I highly recommend Southclimb and we can’t wait to go climbing with them again.
