The Montserrat Massif geography is unique: it's made out of thousands of conglomerate needles rising dozens of feet above the ground and it has a long, rich history. Many of its summits can only be reached climbing, which is the most elegant way to get to a highest point. The views from these summits are hard to explain: we recommend you experience them yourself.
The Gorros de Montserrat area offers a great variety of routes that are ideal to enter the big walls world while enjoying a marvelous environment and spectacular views.
Some of the most repeated lines are the Carles and the Adrià on the Gorro Frigi, or the 98 Octanos on the Magdalena Superior. The Magdalena Inferior can be climbed up the Rantaplan, while on the Gorra Marinera the classic is the Sargantanes route.

We had an awesome time with Mariano from South Climb! Did 2 days of guided climbing (first in Montserrat then in Gelida). It was great, he found routes that worked for both of us at our different levels (beginner and intermediate). He also had lots of tips to share to help us improve, which made the whole experience so much more valuable. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back!
We did a two-day climbing course in Siurana and Arboli and couldn't be happier. Giordano is one of the best guides I have gone out climbing with, he explains things super well and has something to offer no matter your level. I had a great day climbing in Montserrat with Santiago. He picked a great route that was fun and challenging without being overwhelming. I improved my multipitch skills and got to see some beautiful scenery and interesting rock. Santiago was very knowledgeable and helpful, and most importantly is a fun person to spend a day with.
