En el Pirineo podemos realizar multitud de excursiones en raquetas de nieve para un nivel de iniciación. Es una actividad muy divertida y que nos permite disfrutar de los paisajes de la estación invernal de una forma diferente, en pleno contacto con el medio y la naturaleza.
El Valle d’Aran, Valle de Boí, la zona del Parque Natural de Aigüestortes, Tavascan o Port Ainé son lugares ideales para realizar excursiones en raquetas de nieve de hasta 6 horas de duración.
Cerca de la población de Vielha, por ejemplo, podemos realizar la clásica excursión invernal con raquetas desde el Pla de Beret hasta los Estanys de Baciver o la ruta circular de Cabanes deth Pontet è Sarrahèra.
En la Valle de Boí destacan rutas de iniciación con raquetas de nieve como la que nos lleva hasta el Estany Llong, pasando por un majestuoso bosque de pino negro y unas espectaculares llanuras sobre un manto nevado; o con la que podremos disfrutar con la familia y amigos del popular Estany de Sant Maurici y la zona de Amitges.
En definitiva, las raquetas de nieve son una de las mejores formas para entrar en contacto con la nieve y realizar una actividad física moderada y accesible.
